Sorting Craigslist Search Results

Sorting Craigslist results comes in handy when you’re facing plenty of results, and especially if you’re searching for an item on a budget. Within the actual search result screen there is a row of buttons which allow you to set preferences for displaying your hits:

• Down Arrow – opens a pop-up list with self explanatory options and shortcut keys

• Image – the text in this column shows whether the post includes an image or not (img = Yes ; “-“ = No)

• Date – used to sort the search results in ascending or descending order by date

• Post – lists the Craigslist post name

• Price – used to sort the search results in ascending or descending order by price

• Location – used to sort the search results by location in ascending or descending alphabetical order
