Search Multiple CraigsList Locations in CraigsPal©

When starting a new search in the Search Settings screen, underneath the Search Name field, you'll see the “Choose search locations” button. Clicking this button opens the Search Location pop-up screen, where you can search geographical areas in 3 different ways:

1. Clicking on the “+” sign next to select countries, expands the various states, cities, or neighborhoods within that country. For any desired location, there is a square field that can be check-marked. After check-marking all the locations of your choice, press the Select button to set the desired geographical region for your search.

2. You may also just start typing the country, city, state, or neighborhood name in the Locations text field within the Choose Search Locations pop-up window (please see our example image), and press the Search button. You will then be directed to the location you’re looking for, and from there, check-marking the square next to the location name, you will select it as part of the search criteria. You can repeat this step for all the locations you’re looking for, and when finished, press the Select button, to specify all the desired geographical locations for this search.

3. If you always search within the same locations, you may use the Make Default, function. To apply it, in the Choose Search Location pop-up screen, select the desired geographical locations, then check-mark the Make Default button and press Select. From then on, every time you start a search, you will not need to select a location, as the Make Default setting is automatically used. If you want, you may add additional locations later on, and choose whether to make them part of the Make Default function by check-marking them in the search locations pop-up window and repeating the steps above, or just add additional locations for a one-time search only.

With CraigsPal©, the User is able to search single location or any combination of neighborhoods, cities, states, or countries, and all the results will be displayed in a single user screen. You may use either a nationwide Craigslist search, or any combination of location areas (for example: the Southwest US, the Rockies, the Great Lakes, etc.), by conveniently check-marking the desired locations in your preferences.
