Favorite Search Results Screen

The Favorite results screen is designed to store your important or time sensitive Craigslist posts locally on your computer, and to offer an even more convenient and time-saving tool to get what you want (this feature is essential for all of you deal hunters out there...)! When a post expires on Craigslist, all the information contained in it disappears as well, and you’re left without any of the contact details or descriptions. This is where the Favorites folder comes into play... Since the information contained in the original post is stored locally on your computer, you still have access to all of that information, and can contact the seller and bargain. You’ll also have an advantage seeing as how an expired post automatically eliminates most of the competition! Expired for them, but not for you...

To add a post to the favorites folder, simply highlight it, right-click on it, and choose Add To Favorites.

Another cool feature in the Favorite screen is the Note tab, where you can leave yourself a quick note for follow-up. For example; you’ve contacted the poster before the post expired, and asked for an email, phone number, or some question about the post. You can add this information by highlighting the related post in the Favorites screen, clicking on the Note tab, and typing in the relevant info. The information will also be stored locally on your computer, together with the favorite post. (Note: for Vista users - on every new CraigsPal© software, Windows Vista automatically erases all the files from the older version. If you use the Note feature, some of the data will be removed during software updates. Unfortunately we’re limited with Vista’s architecture, and most other software has the same problem, but we’re working on fixing this incompatibility in the future...)
